DuPont Microcircuits Materials has added to its portfolio of conductive pastes with the launch of DuPont? Solamet? PV19x series of photovoltaic conductive pastes. This advanced material is designed to increase the output power of photovoltaic modules. Solamet? PV19x series pastes can improve cell efficiency for solar cell and module manufacturers by more than 0.15% compared to the industry standard Solamet? PV18x series. Increasing the efficiency of solar cells can significantly increase the power output of PV modules, reduce overall system costs, and help improve the return on investment of PV systems.
DuPont? Solamet? PV19A photovoltaic conductive paste is the first product in the PV19x series, a front-side silver conductive paste based on the patented Tellurium technology that enables solar cells to convert sunlight into electricity with optimal efficiency. This enables solar cells to convert sunlight into electricity with optimal efficiency. The increased conversion efficiency of solar cells is due to the excellent fine line printing technology of 30 microns, excellent ink transmission and better aspect ratio to reduce the shading effect on the cell surface while maintaining excellent electrical conductivity.

Solamet? PV19x series has a good process window to improve production yields of high-efficiency cells and therefore reduce production costs and increase efficiency. Improved glass technology enables more extreme Lightly Doped Emitters (LDEs), significantly reducing contact resistance by nearly an order of magnitude, for both mono and multicrystalline solar cells.
